Note that you will be able to redownload any apps that you delete by going to the App Store and searching for them, then tapping the cloud icon next to the app name. Step 1: Locate the app that you want to delete from your iPad.
In the example below, I will be deleting Angry Birds.
Step 2: Touch and hold your finger on the app icon until all of the app icons start to shake.
You will notice that there is a tiny “x” at the upper-left corner of many of the app icons.
Step 3: Touch the tiny “x” button on the app icon that you want to delete.
Step 4: Touch the Delete button to confirm that you want to delete the app and its data from your iPad.
