How to Clear All of the Cells in a Row in Google Sheets

The steps in this article were performed in the desktop version of Google Chrome, but will also work in other desktop Web browsers as well. This guide is going to show you how to select an entire row in your spreadsheet, then clear all of the data from the cells in that row. The row itself will remain in the spreadsheet, so there will be an empty row left after you complete these steps. Step 1: Sign into your Google Drive and open the Sheets file containing the row that you wish to empty. Step 2: Select the row number at the left side of the spreadsheet. Step 3: Right-click the selected row number, then click the Clear row option. Note that you can select multiple rows to clear by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and clicking each row number that you wish to empty.
