How to recover Instagram account without email?
In situations when your email id is unavailable, the way to recover your Instagram account is by seeking help from Instagram customer support. To do that you need to the Instagram app or website on your device. Then click on the ‘Get help logging in’ option The next window will be a place where you can search for your Instagram account. Enter your username and click next. You can also enter your registered phone number if you do not remember the username. The next option is to recover the account by logging into your Facebook or SMS. Choose the ‘Need more help?’ option if you do not have access to the registered phone number either. Instagram would ask you to proceed with your phone number if you registered with a phone number but do not have access to it now. Choose the ‘I can’t access this email or phone number’ option. You will now be taken to the Request Support window. You need to enter the necessary details about the account you wish to recover. Provide the email address you are using presently to receive the account authorization email. Also, enter the old email id if you had used that while registering on Instagram but do not have access to it now. Instagram would check for the email id in their database. Fill in the details as correctly and specifically as possible and mention in details in the ‘More Info’ section by clicking on ‘Other’ if the available options do not match your issue. Once you have properly filled out the form, click on the ‘Request Support’ button. The latest ‘terms & conditions’ of Instagram need the users to take a video selfie as the final step to request for recovering their account. Hence you need to do the same. Follow the instructions on the screen to do as asked and then click on ‘Submit’ followed by ‘Done’. This is an extra layer of security that Instagram has in place to identify and hand over an account’s access to its rightful owner. Within the next two business days, they would send you a link to the email id you provided them to authorize your account.
