What is expected with the iPhone 14 launch?
According to reports, the nomenclature of the iPhone may change because of the level of the upgrade. However, Apple’s marketing strategy involves a lot of secrecy. So, one really cannot speculate the new name yet.

It remains to been seen whether the iPhone 14 will be redesigned completely or not. Interestingly, a leak by John Prosser suggests that the iPhone could have a punch hole front camera and a pill-shaped combo. Some of the iPhone 14 features and specifications are expected to change to dramatically, while many features are expected to remain the same.
What will be the features and specifications of iPhone 14?
iPhone X and all its successors have had a notch design. It is this notch which has the sensors. It is expected that this notch design will be either removed or modified in the new iPhone. Additionally, it is speculated that instead of the notch there will be what is called a ‘punch hole’ design. But this design will only be available for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In the basic iPhone 14 the notch design will still be available. It is being expected that in the new iPhone 14, the ‘punch hole’ will have the camera. But if the camera will be housed in the ‘punch hole’ where will be the Face ID housed. In addition to the Face ID, the notch houses features like the flood illuminator, proximity sensor, speaker, front camera, dot projector etc. Earlier, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted that the iPhone 14 will come with a 48 megapixels camera. He said that the continuous upgrade of the iPhone camera lens helps Apple improve its market share.

Design changes to iPhone 14
In the iPhone 14 it was believed that the Touch ID will be replaced by under-display Touch ID. However, this design could now be pushed to 2023. Due to delay in the design process, it is likely that instead of an under-touch display the Touch ID could be integrated in to the power button of the iPhone. Next comes the camera. Despite the ultra thin design of the iPhone, there is a slight camera bump. The minimum amount of bump is necessary to house the components of the camera. So, to eliminate this bump of the camera, the iPhone 14 could be slightly thicker. It is expected that even the quality of the camera will be dramatically improved. The auto-focus could have some serious upgrades. Since the front facing camera needs more upgrades than rear facing one, major improvements are expected in it. The rear camera of the iPhone 14 Pro and Max will be upgraded to 48 megapixels. As far as the screen size is concerned, it is very likely the ‘mini’ version of the iPhones 12 and 13 will be disarmed. Instead, only two sizes 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches will be available.
How much will the iPhone 14 cost?
The iPhone 14 will likely cost around $900 USD or lesser which in INR is around 68000 Rs. The features and specifications of iPhone 14 are wrapped in utter secrecy. But based on the experience and assumptions of experts there will be never seen before upgrade in iPhone 14. The expected date of launch of iPhone 14 is in September 2022.
