The cheapest 5G smartphone in India has been launched by Realme. Realme has launched the new 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants of the smartphone. It costs Rs 13,999. The base variant of Realme 8 5G is the cheapest 5G smartphone coming in India. The sale of this phone will be from the e-commerce site Flipkart and the company’s official website. Earlier the smartphone was launched with 4GB RAM 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants, which cost Rs 1000 more than the base variant.

The price of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants of Realme 8 5G is Rs. 13,999 in India. While the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will come with a price tag of Rs 14,999.

It has a 6.5-inch Full HD Plus display, which has a resolution of 2400/1080 pixels. Talking about the processor, the smartphone is powered by Dimensity 700 5G processor. Virtual RAM support will be available in the phone. With the help of which 4GB RAM can be converted to 5GB and 8GB RAM to 11GB RAM. The smartphone will work on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. There is a Quad camera setup on the rear panel of Realme 8 5G smartphone. Its primary camera will be supported with 48MP primary camera with B&W camera and a macro lens. The phone will come with a 5 night scape filter. The front shooter has a 16MP camera. The phone has a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
