OnePlus is expected to launch at least two variables in the 8 series line up including OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. While the base model is likely to come with a triple rear camera setup, its Pro model will feature a quad camera setup. However, both the models will run on the Snapdragon 865 processor. Furthermore, the two smartphones will offer 120Hz display refresh rate as well as 5G connectivity.
Expected Prices for OnePlus 8 Series
Company CEO, Pete Lau has already assured that the base 8 series smartphones will not be priced above $1,000. The OnePlus 8 series smartphones are likely to be available in storage variants of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory; and 12GB RAM and 256GB. The base model is rumoured to be priced at around $790 and $898. However, the Pro version is likely to be priced at around $1008 and $1106 for its two storage variants. Additionally, as per the online leaks, OnePlus 8 is likely to be released in three colour variants of onyx black, interstellar glow, and glacial green. However, its Pro version is expected to come in shade of blue besides its black and green variants. Furthermore, OnePlus 8 Pro is also rumoured to offer 6.78” QHD+ Super AMOLED display and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Moreover, its quad rear camera setup is speculated to include two 48-megapixel cameras, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel camera, besides a 16-megapixel front camera. In terms of battery life, the Pro version of the series will likely sport a 4,510mAh battery and will support 30W Warp Charge 30T as well as 3W reverse wireless charging.

However, OnePlus 8 is likely to come with a smaller 6.55-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, its triple rear camera setup is expected to include a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel camera and a third 2-megapixel camera. Although it will sport a smaller 4,300mAh battery but will offer similar 30W Warp Charge 30T support. However, we still haven’t got the official confirmation for these specs from OnePlus.
