Golden Opportunity for STEAM women

The mentorship program will emphasize on women entrepreneurs in either of the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) fields. Moreover, the selection committee would also be looking for entrepreneurs who have futuristic business ideas or business ideas with potential social impact.  WEE Foundation has shared through a Facebook post that there are no application charges or course charges for the above program. Notably, all the participating womenpreneurs will have a chance to receive a grant worth Rs. 5 Lakhs from the Department of Science and Technology. Statistics suggest that around 75 percent to 90 percent of startups around the world fail in the absence of a favorable ecosystem and many of these ventures fail to generate traction in the market. Therefore, IIT Delhi has taken an initiative, Women Entrepreneurship and Empowerment to encourage women entrepreneurs and boost the startup ecosystem.
