According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp tracker, the new drawing tool will allow users to draw on videos and images. It will be more like a modified version of the existing pencil tool on the app. The report also reveals that WhatsApp will include new drawing tools to the Android App. Sometime later in the year, it will make use of two new pencils to draw on images and videos. Currently, WhatsApp has a single pencil tool that allows them to doodle or mark on images. However, the new update will provide the users with one thin and one thick pencil option. Additionally, the report mentions that WhatsApp is working on a blur image tool that will be released in the near future. All these new features will be available in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.3.5. The report also reveals that WhatsApp with WhatsApp beta for desktop 2.2201.2.0 will come up with a new color to its Windows and macOS apps. While the new colors will be available in the dark theme, the chat bubbles will be greener than the existing color. That said, WhatsApp will bring in more features such as a community feature, message reactions, the ability to see the sender’s profile picture in the notification (iOS), and more later this year. WhatsApp is reportedly to bring in a new feature that will enable users to listen to voice notes in the background. Apart from the updates, WhatsApp was also in the news for a new scam Rediroff.com. The scam has been circulating on the app for some time now. Some reports suggest that fraudsters are using the scam to steal users’ bank/card and other personal details. The spam link can infect Android and iOS smartphones and Windows PCs as well.
